In the air between Vienna and Copenhagen
4/21/2011 3:05 PM
I am now sitting on the plane from Vienna to Copenhagen. I have spent the last three days at our Production and Distribution unit in Malacky, Slovakia. The week started in an intense way. I arrived to Zurich airport on Monday morning after a 13 hour flight from Hong Kong. I called my wife to tell that I have landed safely and then she told me that she has lost her bank card. After a number of phone calls to great colleagues and the bank, the account was secured and a temporary solution was in place for my wife and family to manage the coming week before I get back to China. After finally arriving in Malacky on Monday at lunch time I have had three very good days. I’ve got inspiration from our Production and Distribution unit in Malacky of improvements, which I will bring back and implement in our Production and Distribution unit in China. On Tuesday we had our P&D tactical meeting where we have set out and decided on priorities for the coming 6-12 months. Today Wednesday we had our engineering group board meeting setting out and deciding on their priorities for the coming 6-12 months. To summarize we are in a very interesting and exiting phase, where we are growing fast and many new and interesting improvements are in the pipeline.
