These 20 weeks has flown by in a hurry and we are very satisfied with the result of the master thesis and so are our task submitter IKEA Components.
The assignment suited us and we are happy that we got the chance to deliver our solution. It has been challenging in a positive way which have made us even more determined to accomplish a good result.
The closeness to experienced and competent colleagues have contributed to the project and to our own personal development. It has been a great opportunity for us to be able to be situated in Älmhult and ICOMP during the master thesis. We have made some new friends for life, got familiar with the town, IKEA and got to practice the reality of an engineer.
It has been a true pleasure to get to know the people of ICOMP and become a part of the team during a short period of time. We have been welcomed and appreciated by colleagues and been supported during difficult choices.
The supervisors have been a major support for us during the master thesis each phase. They have been given useful advices and guidance and the commitment they have showed us has made our stay in Älmhult extraordinary. We are grateful for the opportunities they have given us by including us during work related activities as Kick-offs, dinners, meetings, fairs and parties.
The master thesis got a good finish and we got a good start in our working life with employments as Design Engineer juniors at IKEA Components!! What an opportunity!
